Pinnacles changed designation from a National Monument to a National Park earlier this month. We wanted to see what the fuss was all about. It is a beautiful place.

The Salton Sea: Part 1, Black and White

The Salton Sea is the largest body of water in California. It fills a basin in extreme Southern California 200 feet below sea level. A culture struggles to survive around the sea despite harsh conditions in and out of the water.
